The rack bar in which the rack gear part going in gear with the pinion shaft is formed. The cylinder housing arranged in the peripheral part of the rack bar. The oil pressure valve supplying the cylinder housing with the fluid pressure. The sensor sensing the rotary wheel of the interval bending with the steering wheel. With the electronic control unit in which the signal sensed through the sensor is input. It comprises the control means controlling the drive of the oil pressure valve with the signal electricals outputted from the electronic control unit. The oil pressure valve is fixed in the cylinder housing peripheral part. The power steering gear of the vehicle which the control means is the solenoid valve.

PURPOSE: A power steering gear for a vehicle is provided to prevent occurrence of noise by separating a hydraulic valve of a power steering gear apparatus from a rack-pinion driving unit and by independently placing. CONSTITUTION: A power steering gear for a vehicle is composed of a torsion bar(242) connected to a side of a steering handle; a pinion shaft connected to a lower end of the torsion bar; a rack bar formed with a rack gear unit geared with the pinion shaft; a cylinder housing(200) placed at an outer peripheral part of the rack bar; a hydraulic valve(220) supplying hydraulic pressure to the cylinder housing; a sensor for detecting rotation difference between the steering handle and a wheel; an electronic control unit for receiving the detected signal from the sensor; and a control unit for controlling drive of the hydraulic pressure valve by an electrical signal outputted from the ECU. The hydraulic pressure valve is separated from a side of the torsion bar.
