PURPOSE: A rack/pinion steering gear mounting device is provided to increase assembly efficiency and to reduce the number of parts by combining a mounting unit of a mounting frame embedding a rack/pinion steering gear to a vehicle body and modularizing and installing the steering gear and the frame to the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A rack/pinion steering gear mounting device is composed of a mounting frame(100) mounted at a vehicle body; a rack bar through-hole(130) bored inside the mounting frame in a width direction of the vehicle body and fitted with a rack bar; a pinion insertion unit(150) formed vertically to communicate with the rack bar through-hole and fitted with a pinion; and an adjusting unit insertion hole(170) bored and installed in the rear part of the vehicle body to communicate with the rack bar through-hole and the pinion insertion unit and fitted with a rack guide.
